The Arbour We Moved Into the NGV — Averyl + Colin

Averyl and Colin came to us with no floral expertise and a vision more ambitious than most people with thirty years in the industry would attempt. They knew the feeling they wanted their guests to have. That was enough.

The day began with an intimate ceremony in a private Melbourne garden, beneath an arbour we designed and built for that exact space — then physically relocated into the National Gallery of Victoria for the reception. Working alongside Bow Creative, the design pushed hard toward strong colour and artful thinking: tables laden with fruit, vegetables and seasonal produce woven through the florals as a full design language, each one slightly different. Flanking the band stage, four-metre branches sourced through three decades of farm contacts reset the proportions of the entire room.
