A Coastal Wedding Built on Lilac and Lilies — Grace + Alex at At The Heads

Grace came to us with a folder full of ideas and one small confession: she was obsessed with lilac, and slightly embarrassed about it. There was nothing to be embarrassed about. It was the clearest brief we could have asked for.

She also told us something that shaped the entire design — Alex had been buying her lilies throughout their whole relationship. So we didn't begin with a colour palette. We began with a love language, and let the flowers follow.

Set against the big coastal light of At The Heads in Barwon Heads, we designed in soft lilac, blush, and antique tones — abundant and textural, romantic without tipping into fussy. Lilies were woven through every element, a quiet detail that meant far more than it looked. An outdoor ceremony opened into an abundant cocktail hour and a dancefloor that ran late into the night.
