Nupur and Sandeep's multi-day destination wedding at Stones of the Yarra Valley was a celebration on a grand scale. It began with a Mehndi brunch in a saturated palette of lilac, orange and marigold — metres upon metres of hand-strung marigolds dressing the bar, grazing table and Indian cart — followed by an evening Sangeet in burgundy velvet with gold-footed vessels and generous statement centrepieces. The wedding day held two ceremonies: a Hindu ceremony beneath a floral-covered mandap overlooking the vines, in en masse autumnal pastels of toasty peach, dusty pink and raspberry, with eight artful ground-flower mounds lining the aisle; then a Western ceremony in the Chapel framed by a lush floral backdrop. Florals travelled through a Stables reception of champagne candelabras and antique-pink tapers, an after-party, and — as a surprise — the bridal suite.
