Each full service wedding I create is custom designed. From the bouquets, ceremony florals, centrepieces and installations, there are so many

variations taken into account when pricing for each wedding that

they really are all different. 

Full service weddings vary in complexity of design, flower volume,  set up and break down costs. It really is a "how long is a piece of string?" question. 

Generally speaking, 10%-15% of your overall budget

is a good range for florals.

If florals are a major feature allow 20%-30% at least, especially if you have your heart set on hanging installations.

As a guide, most full service weddings with

installations in early 2023 were at around $17 000, while smaller,

bridal party only weddings were at around $2500.

 

I also offer styling design and vendor suggestions around stationery, linens, candles etc that complement the wedding aesthetic

as well as the creation of the wedding lookbook to outline the colour palette, style direction and aesthetic of the wedding, including digital renders if custom design is required, on the day styling

and set up of styling elements as required and outlined in the lookbook

and related email support and consultations throughout the planning process and lead up to the wedding. 

 

When comparing quotes with other florists and stylists, please be sure you are comparing similar design, quality, flower volume and skilled experience.

Sassafras Flower Design is not the cheapest, nor the most expensive wedding florist in the Yarra Valley, but my clients are typically looking to elevate their weddings with high quality, custom florals and appreciate excellent service and skilled design.
