Services & Investment

Every Sassafras wedding and event is thoughtfully custom-designed — from the bouquets to the ceremony backdrop, lush centrepieces to immersive installations.

No two celebrations are ever the same, and neither is their pricing. Each proposal is tailored to the scale, complexity, and creative vision of the day.

Floral budgets vary depending on the volume of flowers, level of detail, installation logistics, and overall styling ambition. As a general guide, most couples invest between 10%–15% of their total wedding budget on flowers. If florals are a key design focus — particularly with hanging installations or multiple feature moments — allocating 20%–30% or more is often appropriate.

To give a sense of recent investments:

  • Full-service weddings featuring large-scale installations typically range from $15,000–$20,000+

  • Elopements or bridal party-only florals begin at $2,500

Sassafras is not the cheapest florist in the Melbourne — nor the most expensive — but we are known for our innovative design, generous floral work, and flawless execution. Our clients come to us because they want exceptional flowers and expert service from a trusted, highly skilled team. They are looking to create something truly unforgettable.

When comparing proposals, we always encourage couples to consider the quality of materials, the depth of design experience, and the level of service included. Not all florists offer the same — and when florals are central to your wedding aesthetic, choosing the right partner makes all the difference.
