Wedding Flowers at Zonzo Estate

Zonzo Estate brings a distinctly Italian warmth to the Yarra Valley — forty-five acres of vines, the architectural Cappella, and a reception built around the tradition of the shared table.
It's a venue made for generosity, which is exactly how we like to design. Long banquet tables abundant with food and flowers, framed by vineyard and valley, are some of our favourite settings to work in.

Sassafras is a preferred florist at Zonzo, creating foam-free, textural, abundant florals for couples and planners. With thirty years of experience, we design to honour both the Italian spirit of the venue and the natural beauty of its setting.

Designing for the spaces at Zonzo

The Cappella — architecturally striking with its sleek black panels set against the greenery — is a modern, intimate ceremony space, and we design florals that play to its contemporary lines: sculptural, considered, beautifully restrained where the architecture calls for it. For couples saying "I do" on the lawn, with rolling vines and mountains as a backdrop, we let the landscape lead. And Zonzo's reception, built around the Italian custom of long shared tables, is where our abundant tablescapes shine — running florals designed to live alongside the food and the conversation rather than crowd them.

Why couples choose Sassafras for Zonzo

We share Zonzo's belief in abundance
and warmth. Known for generous, innovative design and flawless execution, we work foam-free as standard, with a strong environmental ethos and floral gifting to guests at every event. Our familiarity with the venue means the logistics are handled seamlessly.
